Account Lists Overview
Account lists in DebtRecoup provide different views of your assigned accounts. Each list filters and organizes accounts based on specific criteria, allowing you to focus on different aspects of your inventory.
Available Lists
The top navigation bar contains tabs for different account views:
Primary Lists
- All - Complete inventory of assigned accounts
- New Accounts - Recently placed accounts (status = new)
- Hot List - Accounts marked as high priority
- Call Backs - Accounts with scheduled callbacks
Specialized Lists
- Work By - Filtered work queues with multiple filter options
- By Payments - Accounts filtered by payment status and date range
- Good Numbers - Accounts with verified phone numbers
- Skips - Accounts needing location services
Additional Views
- Calendar - Visual date picker for scheduling work
- Search - Search accounts by File#, Account#, Name, Phone, Email, or SSN
How Lists Work
List Display
Each list shows accounts in a table with five columns:
- File Number
- Debtor Name
- Creditor
- Phone
- Status
Tab Filtering
Each tab applies specific filters:
- New Accounts - Shows accounts with new status
- Hot List - Opens a dialog to select from priority accounts
- Work By - Opens a dialog with filters for Status, Balance, Client, Portfolio, State, Time Zone, and Last Worked
- By Payments - Opens a dialog to filter by payment status and date range
- Good Numbers - Shows accounts with verified phone numbers
- Skips - Shows accounts flagged for skip tracing
- Calendar - Opens a visual calendar to select accounts by work date
Account Counts
Each tab displays the total number of accounts matching that view's criteria.
List Navigation
Moving Through Lists
- Use Previous/Next buttons to navigate between pages
- Lists display 10 accounts per page
- Current page position shown between navigation buttons
Opening Accounts
- Click on any account row to open the account detail view
- Press Enter when an account is highlighted
Returning to Lists
- Click the list tab to return to the list view
- Use browser back button
- Press Escape to close dialogs
Using the Search Tab
The Search tab provides flexible account lookup:
- Click the Search tab
- Select a search field from the dropdown:
- File Number
- Account Number
- Name
- Phone
- SSN
- Enter your search term
- Results appear automatically as you type
Dialog-Based Lists
Several tabs open filter dialogs before showing results:
Hot List Dialog
- Shows all accounts marked as hot/priority
- Multi-select to work multiple accounts
- Click an account to open it
Call Backs Dialog
- Filter by Today or All callbacks
- Shows scheduled callback times
- Select accounts to work
Work By Dialog
Filter accounts by:
- Status
- Balance range
- Client
- Portfolio
- State
- Time Zone
- Last Worked date
By Payments Dialog
- Filter by payment status (Posted, Pending, etc.)
- Set date range for payments
- View accounts with matching payment activity
Calendar View
- Visual monthly calendar
- Click dates to see accounts scheduled for that day
- Navigate between months
Tips for Using Lists
Efficient Workflow
- Use Work By filters to create focused work queues
- Check Call Backs at the start of each day
- Monitor Hot List for priority accounts
- Use Search when you know specific account details
Finding Accounts
- Use the Search tab for specific lookups
- File Number and Account Number searches are exact matches
- Name searches match partial text
- Phone searches work with or without formatting
Troubleshooting Lists
Empty lists:
- Check that you have accounts assigned
- Verify the filter criteria in dialog-based lists
- Refresh the page
Can't find an account:
- Try different search fields
- Check spelling of names
- Use partial phone numbers without formatting
- Verify the account is assigned to you
Dialog won't close:
- Press Escape key
- Click outside the dialog
- Click a different tab
