First Steps
1. Logging In
- Navigate to your DebtRecoup URL
- Enter your email and password
- Click "Sign In"
2. Understanding Your Dashboard
When you first log in, you'll see the main collections interface with:
- Top Navigation Bar - Account filters and navigation
- Action Toolbar - Quick actions for the current account
- Account Information - Key details about the debt
- Debtor Information - Contact details and demographics
- Account Tabs - Detailed views of different aspects
3. Viewing an Account
- Click on an account from your list
- The account information displays in the main area
- Click tabs at the bottom to view different information
- Use the action toolbar buttons to perform tasks
Essential Concepts
Account Lists
DebtRecoup organizes accounts into different views:
- All - Every account assigned to you
- New Accounts - Recently placed accounts needing first contact
- Hot List - High-priority accounts
- Call Backs - Scheduled follow-up calls
Account Status
Each account has a status that indicates its current state in the collection workflow. Statuses are configured by your organization and may include categories such as:
- New account assignments
- Promise to pay commitments
- Payment plans
- Legal proceedings
- Financial hardship situations
Click the status badge on an account to change its status.
Key Actions
The most common actions you'll perform:
- Take Payment - Process a payment
- Add Note - Document account activity
- Send Email - Communicate with debtor
- Set Callback - Schedule follow-up
